Race & Rally Announce MIJRS Prize Fund

As we get set for this weekends opening round of the 2024 MIJRS (Motorsport Ireland Junior Rally Series), we are delighted to announce a brand new Prize Package being supported by Race & Rally for competitors competing in both Class 2 (Rally4) and Class 2A (R2 & R2T), with up to €12,000 in additional prizes available.




The MIJRS is Ireland's sole national Dual-Surface series with eight rounds split across the Sligo Pallets Forest Rally Championship and Triton Showers National Tarmac Rally Championship.




Race & Rally (R&R) is a leading supplier of motorsport accessories, spares and safety equipment covering the UK, Ireland and into Europe, but are also the exclusive Stellantis Motorsport dealers in Ireland.





Such has been the success of the MIJRS formula in recent years, R&R are delighted to announce a brand new prize package for competitors as follows;


  • Class 2 (Rally4): €500 R&R parts voucher for a class win on each event to an MIJRS 2024 registered competitor driving a Peugeot 208 Rally4 or an Opel Corsa Rally4



  • Class 2A (R2 & R2T): €500 R&R parts voucher for a class win on each event to an MIJRS 2024 registered competitor driving a Peugeot 208 R2 or a Citroen C2R2.



  • End of season Class 2 MIJRS 2024 winner (driving a Peugeot 208 Rally4 or an Opel Corsa Rally4) will receive a paid registration to 2025 Stalantis Cup.


  • End of season Class 2A MIJRS 2024 winner (driving a Peugeot 208 R2 or a Citroen C2R2) will receive a paid registration to 2025 Stalantis Cup provided they have an eligible car for that series.


Aimed at future stars of the sport with an age limit of under 24 years of age for Classes 2 & 2A, the series already boasts an unparalleled prize structure with Billy Coleman award nominations and support packages through the Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy also available to be won amongst the classes.


The 2024 MIJRS season begins with the Killarney Forestry Rally on February 18th, while we switch to Tarmac soon after with the Mayo Stages Rally on March 3rd. Full championship information and registration details can be found at www.MIJRS.ie
